Terms of Service

These terms are the agreement between you and [legal name of the company or person] (“we”) for Nuqood, at [your domain]. By creating an account or using the service you agree to them and to the Privacy Policy.

What Nuqood is, and is not

Nuqood helps you see what you own and shows screening ratios for stocks against published limits. It is not financial, investment, tax or religious advice. Screening verdicts are indicative only: they apply ratio limits to company figures and show the numbers, and the figures can be out of date or wrong. Prices show their age, and some are delayed or end-of-day. Before you decide anything about your money or your religious obligations, check the numbers yourself and ask a qualified adviser or scholar. We are not a broker, bank, investment adviser or scholar, and we do not hold your money.

Your account

• You must be at least [minimum age] and give us true information.
• Keep your password safe. You are responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us at once if you think it was used without you.
• One person, one account. Do not share logins.

Plans and payment

• Free: no card and no trial. Up to 10 active positions per portfolio.
• Pro: $9 a month or $80 a year, in US dollars [tax: say whether prices include VAT or other tax]. Unlimited positions.
• Renewal and cancelling. Subscriptions renew each period until you cancel. You cancel with one button in Settings. You keep Pro until the end of the period you paid for. [say that you send a reminder email before an annual renewal only after you have switched on Stripe renewal reminders]
• Refunds. [owner to decide and a lawyer to word: for example, a full refund of the first payment within 14 days]
• Price changes. We will give you [number of days] days' notice by email before a price change affects you.
• Payments are handled by Stripe. We do not see your card number.

Using the service

• Do not break the law, attack or overload the service, scrape it, resell it, or try to reach other people's data.
• You own what you enter. You give us permission to store and process it to run the service for you.
• We may suspend an account that breaks these terms, after telling you why where we can.

Market data and third parties

Prices, exchange rates and screening figures come from third parties [names, once chosen: see the Privacy Policy list]. We do not promise they are complete, correct or on time. Links or data from third parties are under their own terms.

Availability and changes to the service

We work to keep Nuqood running but do not promise it will always be available or error free. We may change or remove features. If we remove something you paid for, we will refund the unused part of your period. [lawyer: confirm]

Ending the agreement

You can delete your account in Settings at any time. Deleting it removes your data as described in the Privacy Policy. Sections that by their nature should survive (for example, limits on liability) continue after the agreement ends.

Law and disputes
